  • We as a Pastoral Staff have made the decision to make it mandatory for all our current and future volunteers to complete all 4 Connection Track classes to continue to volunteer or to began volunteering.
  • I am giving all FOkids volunteers 3 months to get through all 4 classes.  Which means if you have not completed the classes come September you will not be permitted to serve.
  • Don’t forget if you are currently a “partner” you do not have to attend 101.
  • We believe adequate preparation on the front end will help us as a team take the whole ministry to new levels.   See you at the Connection Classes!!!

New Series starting this Weekend: The Great SkyBridge Showdown

FOkids volunteers are awesome and I am so thankful for each of you.  Saturday night is our Volunteer Appreciation Night!  This is a night where the staff puts on a night just for you, our volunteers.  A reminder on the details:

  • Saturday, May 15th
  • 7:00 – 8:30
  • Childcare is provided
  • We’ll be providing lots of desserts  so don’t eat too much for dinner.

Hope to see you there.

The highlight of the Week this week is YOU!

Check out this great 3 minute clip captured from the C3 Kids Conference last year.  Awesome stuff, time to charge hell with a water pistol!

Here are the motions for the new worship song, “We Shine”.  I grabbed these randomly off youtube, not sure who the girl is but we’ll take the motions.  HA!

This is our Worship Song for the next series in the AZ Theater, the song is called “We Shine”.

This past week we had a milestone at one of our services.  During the 6:00 pm service in the AZ Theater we had the most kids ever in that room for that service at 27 kids.  The service is run by a very small team led by an amazing Father/Son duo.  Hal Collins and his 6th grade son Palmer have almost single handedly carried the 6 pm service (in the Theater) since its conception.  The leadership team has grown in recent months as it is now led by Tseby, Brittany Farber, Don Tantillo, and Griffin Broecker.  They all deserve lots of credit as they have been committed to showing up at a difficult time to love on and serve 1-5 graders.  Thanks team for all your love, sacrifice, and commitment to FOkids.  Well done & Much Love!

Hey FOkids Volunteers, this is a new adventure experiment in trying to better communicate with the masses.  With so many volunteers and so much information to relay to each of you I decided to create this website specifically for FOkids Volunteers.  The purpose of the site is simply to communicate and encourage you so you can make the most of you ministry.  The goal is to have weekly training articles and videos but it will take us some to get there.  I’ll email you with a link to this sight when I post something new.  The goal is try and give you information via this site that I normally would give you at a large group meeting or if we were hanging out at Starbucks.  With that said, let the communication website begin.  PS: in terms of training info if you have any thoughts on topics you’d like me to cover just let me know.  Dustin

Hey Guys, here is a quick 1 minute video on your rooms new toy!  Each room has one and be sure to clean up your room before you leave for the next service.  Thanks, Dustin
